Who is responsible for your information?

When you enquire
We use your name, email address, wedding date, venue, requested coverage and any message you choose to provide to answer your enquiry and discuss a possible booking. This is processing to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Please avoid sending sensitive information about yourself or guests through this form.
Your enquiry is saved privately in WordPress and an email notification is sent to our team. Access is restricted to website administrators. Our hosting and email service providers process information to operate these services. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing mailing list.
Website security and retention
We use hosting security logs and short-lived, keyed identifiers derived from connection information to protect the website against abuse. Our legitimate interest is keeping the website and enquiry service secure. Form rate-limit records expire after one hour and duplicate-submission checks after ten minutes.
We retain correspondence while dealing with your enquiry and any resulting booking. We review it when it is no longer needed, taking account of outstanding questions, contractual obligations, legal record-keeping requirements and any dispute. Information is not kept simply because you once contacted us. Ask us to review or delete information that is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Links to WhatsApp and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy notices. Our booking agreement and any relevant photography privacy information will explain arrangements for wedding photographs and their use.
