Ask each venue about access for photographers, unloading equipment and where group photographs can happen without blocking entrances.

Build a practical portrait plan

Choose a main portrait location and a nearby sheltered alternative. Consider the light at the actual time of your ceremony, especially for late-afternoon winter weddings.

Keep family groups close to the celebration where possible. Guests with mobility needs should not have to make a long detour for a photograph.
